About Us

Christine L. Robinson, M.Ed.

Founder, President and Managing Director of Academics and More

Passion, focus and personal experience drove Christine to start her own company, ADD Action Coach Inc., focusing on ADHD Coaching and educational consulting/advocacy in 2006.  After her own child was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, she went back to school to earn her Master's in Education to help navigate her own child's educational struggles.  Along the way she met Dr. Edward Hallowell who introduced her to the ADHD Coaching field and she knew she had found her passion. Certified teacher and master coach who also has over 20 years of sales and management/leadership experience, she is considered an expert in her field of ADHD, special education, advocacy work and individualized education plans. Christine is a frequent guest on Attention Talk Radio and is a contributor to Attention Magazine (a CHADD Publication).

Why Choose academics and more?

Christine trains and coaches all the Academic and More staff on the best practices of executive function. All of our tutors have years of experience in their subject areas as well as specific training in executive function and parent coaching.  We also have tutors on staff who are trained in prescriptive reading programs and specialized math strategies.  All tutors are carefully screened at all levels.

Our company's mission

Moving to Nashville five years ago, Christine recognized a deficit in services that involved executive function training especially for students from elementary through high school.  Combining academic support with executive function training teaches children and teens lifelong skills.  Time management and organizational skills, when taught and practiced, help alleviate a student's stress level and are more likely to result in greater achievement both academically and personally. By working alongside our professionals receiving guidance in their academic courses, students will practice and actively refine their executive function skills. In addition, we recognize and endorse that early support for reading and math proficiency is key to a student's success.  We also offer a "college readiness" program so your student can go off to college with confidence.
